Beauty from within

They say that true beauty is comes from within because these beauty Is cannot be prescribed or created by surgeries unlike the outer beauty.

Love yourself first by tending to needs and desires evident from self- inquiry. Then love others. Love with all the vigor and passion available to you.

Forgive yourself. This can be more difficult than your next task, which is to forgive all others. It is in forgiving yourself that you allow yourself to be, allowing your light to fully shine. Concentrate on allowing yourself to not be perfect. Love what you believe to be imperfections just as much as any other part of you.

Early Morning Exercise

Even if you’re not the early-bird type, you can learn to rise and shine—and even sweat—before your morning coffee. Here is how.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Alarm clock
  • Exercise plan
  • Workout gear
  • Discipline

1.) Choose an alarm clock with a pleasant wake-up call. If your alarm scares the pants off of you every morning, then you might be waking up grouchy and uninspired for a very good reason. Test-drive clocks in the store and look for a sound that suits you.

2.) Before you go to bed each night, lay out your workout clothes, gym bag or other gear. Include a variety of items in case the weather changes overnight.

3.) Wake up at the same time every day (and ban the snooze button). Even if you choose to sit on the couch and read the newspaper instead of exercise, at least you are teaching your body to rise and be semi-alert at this hour.

4.)
Don’t leave enough time to dilly-dally. The more you are standing around in a dark, cozy house, the less likely you are to leave it. Wake up, get dressed, and get out the door.

5
.)Experiment with your pre-workout food. Figure out how little you can eat and still fit in a solid workout. Can you run 5 miles on an empty stomach? Can you ONLY run on an empty stomach? Some quick-and-easy foods that are usually gentle on a pre-workout stomach: banana, cereal bar, toast or yogurt. If you are doing an especially tough workout that requires ample fuel, give yourself enough time for your food to digest before exercising.

6
.)Find a friend or group to keep you accountable and motivated. If you are meeting outside for a walk or bike ride, establish weather-related guidelines. (For example, if the weather drops below X degrees or it’s thundering outside, hit the gym or stay home.)
7.)Explore different activities, then alternate your workouts to keep things fresh, but consistent.
8.)Create an exercise plan or fitness goal so that you know what you’re working toward. Once you start seeing results, you will be more motivated to keep that alarm set on EARLY.

Sleep deprivation: How do we conquer it?

For all of us, getting 5 to 8 hours of sleep is lavishness. But is it possible nowadays? In today’s world, we are used to work harder and longer and find ourselves with less time of rest. There are some people who used to take sleeping pills or popping pills in order to get more sleep. I’ve read these simple tips that may help us on how to get a few more hours of sleep and I just want to share it with you guys…
It is said that we should have to know what stresses us, and write them up instead of keeping this in our head because this may help us to have a better rest by not having everything being juggled in our mind while we are trying to get sleep. Exercising regularly maybe a great help also, this will help us to gain more energy and help us to sleep better. We should try to avoid caffeine after 4 to 5 pm and the most important of all is time management by trying to sleep at the same time every night because when we change our sleep pattern and times can lead us to restless nights. If you believe that you suffer from insomnia, please contact your doctor to speak to them about possible treatment.

Morning Prayer to Aphrodite

Aphrodite known in Roman as Venus was the goddess of love, beauty and fertility. She was also a protector of sailors. As proven by her actions in myth and her appearance in classical art, Aphrodite was a truly influential goddess. Despite the great misunderstanding of her by popular culture, she deserves appreciation as one of the most powerful and important Greek deities. Ladies out there, I found this prayer to start our day right… Say it after the prayer of Thanks to our lord…

Hail Mother!
The Sun has risen.
Another day has begun.
I wash my face in these new born rays
and take my first step in the ways of love.

By the Divinity of Three,
So mote it be!
