Girls just wanna have fun… :)

Girls, I have some idea where we can use our leisure time. We know that this moment is very scarce in today’s world so we have to use it in an enjoyable activity. I read it on a certain blog that there are many ways to enjoy ourselves. If you like to treat your self from a hectic schedule just go shopping or window shopping rather, and try to get some relax by having a whole body massage, I can assure you, that this one feels like heaven, lolz.. Go to a beauty salon and try to change your image by having a hair cut or hair color, or how about try some casino online game, where you can play online poker, blackjack and etc. Many ladies out there are addicted already to this kind of game but before you start, you should consider to find a reputable casino online site that’s has been around for awhile, its better to check some reviews or forums to see the ratings of the certain site. Remember, that work and chores are always be there so make leisure time a priority. Schedule your day for the important people in your life, including yourself. Just try it, and be happy..

Wish Spell to Diana

You may use this only three times in between the new moons.

While gazing at the moon, repeat the following:

“Moon, moon, beautiful moon, brighter than any star,
Goddess of light and love, Diana if it might be,
pray bring fortune unto me”.

A sign that the spell worked would be coins doubling in the purse or pocket, or seeing a hare before dawn. Note: The spell won’t work if done with evil intent.

Be a Beauty Goddess

Hey Girls, we’re all led astray when it comes to our looks. I admit that I always feel it. We’re always depend on what our friends suggest us, what we read on magazine, and the list goes on. I found this no-fail beauty tips that will surely keep you gorgeous and glowing.

Step 1:
Bulk up on fresh makeup sponges so foundation will slide on sheer and easy. If you have brushes, wash them at least once a month in soapy water.

Step 2:
Pick a liner in the same color family as your lipstick. If you’re going for a pouty pucker, try dabbing a frosty gloss in the center of your bottom lip.

Step 3:
Stay within two shades of your natural hair color if you decide to hit the bottle. You won’t need to dye it as often, and you won’t see your roots from a mile away. Otherwise, keep a standing appointment at a salon.

Step 4:
Lather up every other day with shampoo. Unwashed hair styles more easily when there is a little oil to help keep strands in place.

Step 5:
Give eye makeup something to stick to by applying foundation or pressed powder to your lids before dabbing on color.

Step 6:
Make a habit of getting regular hair trims every 6 weeks. To help stop your ends from going splitsville between snips, try a hot-oil treatment.

Step 7:
Wash acne-prone skin with cleansers designed to prevent future breakouts as well as zap existing zits.

Step 8:
When washing hair, scrub up with tepid water and rinse off with cool water. Give your hair a styling break by letting it air-dry. And when you do plug in your styling appliances, shield locks from heat with a thermal protectant.

Morning Prayer to Aphrodite

Aphrodite known in Roman as Venus was the goddess of love, beauty and fertility. She was also a protector of sailors. As proven by her actions in myth and her appearance in classical art, Aphrodite was a truly influential goddess. Despite the great misunderstanding of her by popular culture, she deserves appreciation as one of the most powerful and important Greek deities. Ladies out there, I found this prayer to start our day right… Say it after the prayer of Thanks to our lord…

Hail Mother!
The Sun has risen.
Another day has begun.
I wash my face in these new born rays
and take my first step in the ways of love.

By the Divinity of Three,
So mote it be!

Alvin and The Chipmunks

Valentine’s Day, me and my boo decided not to go out to have some date or what, and be a home buddy because it seems that is a busy day, we both watch a movie entitled “Alvin and the Chipmunks”. This movie has received extremely negative reviews from movie critics but I personally accepted that I really enjoyed watching it.

It is a story of the three chipmunk brothers named Alvin (an emotional roller coaster), Simon (having an IQ just north of Einstein), and Theodore (the child of innosent). They are living their lives in the forest storing nuts away for the winter when one day their tree is cut down and carried off into the city to become a Christmas tree. They must find a new home and they end up at Dave’s house. The only thing that makes them different is that they can talk and even sing. Dave Seville (Jason Lee) is a struggling song writer who has a great idea about making the chipmunks a new show act, singing his songs. The only thing is that you must remember is that they are chipmunks and they act like chipmunks by tearing up Dave’s house and interrupting his love life. However, they also begin to bond as a family with Dave becoming like a Dad. The chipmunks become a big hit and superstars with cute voices and fancy dance moves. The record company executive Ian (David Cross) sees big money in his future and takes over the act and pushes Dave to the side. Dave must try to save his little family before they becomes a show biz disaster.

Remembering Hearts Day…

There is nothing more magical than spending Valentine’s Day with your true love. Taking them out to dinner, having a sumptuous dessert, showering them with gifts and then having some wonderful alone time where the two of you can grow closer. But there’s nothing worse than forgetting it. With life’s hectic schedule, sometimes these holidays sneak up on you. Here are a few tips on how to remind you.

Step 1:
Place a note on your computer. All of us are so “wired” these days we are always in front of our personal computer. Place a note right on the edge of your monitor telling yourself when Valentine’s Day is and what tasks you have to complete for the one you love.

Step 2:
Have your best friend call you. Tell him that you’ll buy him a drink or do a small favor if he simply reminds you when Valentine’s Day is in the days leading up to it.

Step 3:
Sign up for a web service. There are many out there (see Resources below) and many allow you to input important dates like birthdays or holidays. Then they remind you via email as they are approaching or on the day.

Step 4:
Set your PDA, cell phone or other electronic device that you strap to your hip with a schedule alarm. These are obviously specific to each piece of technology you own. But many allow you to input schedules which will alarm on the appropriate day or time.

Step 5:
Beg dear old mom. After all that’s what moms are for. They do the little intangibles that make our lives just a little bit less stressful. But since it is Valentine’s Day, send your mom some flowers while you’re at it. After all, she gave you unconditional love long before that girl in your graduate school class.

Samurai’s Garden…

I couldn’t sleep last night, so I decide to read some novel just to make my eyes tired and get some snap because I have to wake very early for my work. The Samurai’s Garden” by Gail Tsukiyama is the title of the novel.

A story of a beautiful account of life in a fishing village in Japan in the late 1930’s from the view of a young Chinese man sent there to recover from an illness. It is indeed a wonderful story with lovely character. So better buy and read it…

The novel is about goodness and beauty. I found this quote because I find it fit to the idea of the author.

Often people attempt to live their lives backward: they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want so that they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who your really are, then, do what you need to do, in order to have what you want.” -Margaret Young-

Gong Xi Fa Cai…

It’s Chinese New Year, so “Kung Hei Fat Choi” everybody… It is the Year of the Rat, and is a year of plenty, bringing of good opportunity and prospects. Here’s some tips on how to celebrate the 15 days Chinese New Year. I wish that all of us will be prosperous(Gong Xi Fa Cai)

1.) Know when the New Year will be. Due to the way that the Chinese calendar works in combining the lunar and solar movements, the actual date of the New Year changes.

2.) Decorate. This is a fun and easy way to add to the aura of festivity. This should certainly include live flowers and plants, which play a large part in the traditional festivities.

3.) Buy tickets if needed. On New Year’s Eve, traditionally there would be a reunion dinner.

4.) Wear new clothes, especially red and gold as these colors ward off evil and invite wealth. You and your loved ones will feast on rich and delicious foods. Money is given in red envelopes to the younger people and everyone celebrates the older members of the family. This is also a time when the Chinese communities might host banquet dinners and you would see the lion or dragon dancers in the streets or at private parties.

5.) Return to your parent’s home on the second day if you are a married daughter. A newlywed husband is to bring a gift with him.

6.) Go to bed early on the night of the third day. This is due to the charming legend that the mice marry off their daughters during this night and need the time to perform their ceremonies.

7.) Prepare your food offerings for the return of the Kitchen god on the fourth day.

8.) Visit the temple to lay out offerings or gifts to the Jade Emperor whose birthday is the ninth day just after midnight. Sugarcane and tea were customary offerings during this time.

9.) Invite friends and relatives to dinner and celebrations during the tenth through twelfth days and evenings.

10.) Light the night with your lanterns on the fifteenth evening. The Lantern Festival traditionally brings an end to the New Year’s celebration.

Along with the parades of lanterns, there are typically fireworks where permitted, lion and dragon dancers, and lots of delicious Tang Yuan (Tikoy) to eat.
